Manufacturing Engineering Technology Program Description
To pursue a career in manufacturing, you must enjoy solving problems
and working with your hands, and possess communication, mathematical,
physical science, and mechanical abilities. You must be creative, persistent,
and able to work independently and with others.
As a Manufacturing Engineering Technology graduate, you work as a technician, engineering
aide, or first-line supervisor in production, quality control, purchasing,
and industrial relations. You solve manufacturing problems, prepare product
specifications, study ways to improve efficiency, and supervise production
workers.
