Landscape and Garden Day

Mona Lisa flowerLandscape and Garden Day began in 1981 as a method of highlighting the All-America Selections of flowers and vegetables. Its main purpose is as a dispensatory mechanism of horticulture information to the public.

Local garden clubs, plant societies, and nurseries set up displays and answer questions presented by gardeners. Seminars on a wide range of topics are presented and tours are given of the ICC display gardens and arboretum.

In recent years, over 1500 gardening enthusiasts have been in attendance.

Landscape and Garden Day is always held on the first Saturday after Labor Day.
